From Pinterest to Personal: Creating a Bridal Hairstyle That’s Yours

January 24, 2026

One thing I always explain to my brides is this:
The same hairstyle will never look identical on two people, and that’s not a problem. It’s actually the point.

Pinterest is such a helpful place to start. It gives me insight into what you love, softness, structure, simplicity. But those images are only ever inspiration.

Every head of hair is different. Face shape, hairline, density, length, and natural movement all play a part in how a style looks and feels. So when you show me a photo, I’m not looking to copy it exactly. I’m looking to understand why you love it.

This is where the real work happens, and it’s very much a team effort.

I love working closely with my brides to create something that feels considered and personal. We talk through what you like, what you don’t, how you normally wear your hair, and how you want to feel on the day. From there, I adapt the style to suit you refining it until it feels right.

Sometimes that means softening a look so it feels more natural. Sometimes it means adjusting placement or balance so it sits better on your head. And sometimes it means simplifying a style so it feels lighter, more comfortable, and more you.

This is why trials are so important to me. They’re not about ticking a box, they’re about collaboration. It’s where we shape, adjust, and fine-tune a style that’s created specifically for you.

My goal is never to recreate a hairstyle strand for strand.
It’s to create a version of it that feels effortless, comfortable, and truly yours.

If your bridal hair looks a little different to the Pinterest image you saved, that usually doesn’t mean something has gone wrong.
It usually means it’s been created with you in mind.
